This past summer, CEA's Study Abroad Students enrolled in the "Florence in Photography" course at the CEA GlobalCampus in Florence took some really great photos which are well worth a look.

Students learned how the camera can be used in a foreign environment as an exciting tool of documentary record, cross-cultural understanding, artistic expression and self-discovery. The class teaches students to constantly train their cameras on the city of Florence itself, its architecture, history, people, and rich culture. While developing technical, compositional and critical skills as a photographer, students created a portfolio of images that both showcase and celebrate the whole unforgettable study abroad experience.
